House Grasse of Wintercourt is an ancient and prestigious Riverfolk house. Once kings of much of the Motherlands, the Grasses were defeated by Orthos of the Deadmont and subsequently vassalized by the new House Orthed. They lost all their lands save the castle of Wintercourt, originally the house's winter residence. Over time, they have greatly dwindled in status and prestige and are now minor vassals of House Glenn.
