Sir Bella Blackwolf, often remembered as Bella Wolfsblood, was the founder of House Blackwolf. 

According to legend, Bella's mother was a Unknown spirit who shapeshifted into a human to seduce a local farmer. The result of this union was twin siblings, a human girl (Bella) and a male greatwolf pup. Bella would become a renowned knight, riding her brother into battle in lieu of a horse. 

For valor, she was knighted by Queen Aenella II Orthed at only fifteen years old and took the name Blackwolf in honor of her mother. She would be given lands near a lake, where she constructed the castle of Wolf's Den, which would eventually grow into the Wolf's Town.
