King Paderion I Pineblood was the final independent King of the Y'kanos. Elected King of the Y'kanos after the death of Sorovan I Qar, Paderion was known as a wise and just ruler. He briefly resisted Pelegon I, but was forced to submit due to overwhelming numbers. Pelegon allowed the lords of the Y'kanos to hold a final election to choose a heriditary monarch, and the lords selected Paderion, cementing House Pineblood as the King of Bark and Pine.
