House Jakoron of Vateni is a noble house sworn to House Scelza. Like many of the Dukes of Neria, the Jakoroni are descended from an old banking dynasty of the Nerian Confederacy. While Vateni is not a particularly large settlement compared to the larger cities of Neria, the Jakoroni have earned a reputation for military prowess.
It was during the reign of Duke Glaubina Jakoron that House Jakoron gained its reputation as great patrons of art and culture, and even today Vateni is seen as one of the cultural hearths of the Nerian people.
