A shem'harav is an ancient and incredibly powerful type of weapon believed to have been created by the warrior-mystics of the Eydyamahnnu. Shem'haravi were blades of pure light, created through a combination of technology and spells, and focused through crystals of Starstuff. The process of creating a shem'harav has been lost since Prehistory, though a select few survive. Exceptionally rare and incredibly powerful, shem'haravi are greatly prized by collectors and warriors alike.
Shem'haravi are exceptionally deadly weapons. Able to cut through nearly anything, the magical properties and heat of the blade cause it to immediately cauterize a wound. The blade of a shem'harav is usually about five feet long.
It is said that one of the heirlooms of Deshen was a shem'harav. When the King of Mankind created Starstuff, he used some to give his blade a golden color.
