God-King Duros I of Duryavar, often called Duros the Great, was the first God-King of Duryavar and the founder of the city of Duryavar and the Empire of Dury. Duros made a pact with the God Harrok, a fragment of Tovun shattered in the War in Heaven. Granted immense powers, Duros conquered a wide swath of Yekare, founding an empire which would last for millennia and was numbered as amongst the most powerful of the realms of the Octarchy. 

Before his ascendancy, Duros was a local tribal priest, leading a group of pilgrims to follow a fallen star, finding Harrok and forming a pact with It, becoming a semi-divine being.
