Vizeroth IX Ugaros, remembered as Vizeroth the Great, was a Witch King of House Ugaros. During his reign, King Vizeroth found the blade Silence in the Silent Necropolis. The circumstances of his acquisition of the blade are mysterious. A court chronicle from his reign indicates that he and fifty men went into the Necropolis, but only he returned, sword in hand, and refused to speak of how he found the sword or what happened to his men. He took for his arms a depiction of Silence on a crimson field. King Vizeroth was known as a great conqueror, who subjugated House Didymos, House Finn, and House Oldblood. It was said that King Vizeroth killed ten kings with Silence, though records do not indicate which kings these were, marking this claim as dubious. When he was old and spent, King Vizeroth went alone into the Silent Necropolis and was never seen from again, leaving Silence as the new dynastic sword of his house.
