The Bogmen are the inhabitants of the Swaleswamp. They are a shy and reclusive people, largely keeping to their bogs and small villages. They live in several clans, which are treated like noble houses by the lords of the Y'kanos. While trespassers in the Y'kanos fear the Y'kanosi, even the Y'kanosi fear the Bogmen, who are said to drink uncleaned water from their swamps and eat mud.
