The Olmmosi are a race of people originally native to the southeastern region of Avanar. They can be compared to the Notoshi of Yekare, as the Olmmosi are descended from the original Avanari natives of the southeastern coast from before Kardunashi colonization. After the Kardunashi Sea Empire colonized the coast, they were either integrated, becoming the Sunatau, or fled inland to the woodlands and foothills of the mountains, where they reside today.
In the modern day, the Olmmosi are roughly split into two distinct groups, the Northern and Southern Olmmosi, separated by the Sotcahi Lake and Miulki and Vuolit Rivers. They speak slightly different languages and have different customs, but both groups consider themselves part of a greater whole.
