The Second Kolrammic Empire was a state founded in the final years of the Fourth Age through the efforts of Galka the Infinite, who had plundered the great riches in the ruins of Mel Badhir and slain the demon Iaurlum. He sought out and returned the crown to Frigg III, the last surviving heir of the Empire, who in short order reunited many of the old Kolrammic lordships. In V 380, Emperor Frigg IV and his heirs died of an illness. To prevent civil war, the lords of the realm convened a council and established a republican form of government which persists to this day.
