The House of Kala, rendered in Dwarvish as Yuul Kala, was a noble house of Mernelian origin which led an exodus from the realms of the Mernel Mountains to settle in the Motherlands. They eventually founded the realm of Kolram and reigned as Emperors for centuries. The house is named for its founder, Kala I, the first Empress of Kolram.
