Nicolo I Scelza was the eldest child and heir of Queen Andrea II Scelza.

When his mother mustered the forces of Neria to repel the Dark Lord Unbekannt's invasion, Prince Nicolo accompanied his mother to the front and fought gallantly. When she was slain during the Battle of the Bloody Beach, Nicolo succeeded her as King of Neria, but himself followed her to the grave a week later due to wounds sustained in the fighting.
