Keahi (pronounced key-AH-hee) grew up in a nomadic tribe of druids, wandering the reaches of the High Forest. Daughter to two fire genasi, and among a clan of almost entirely genasi, she never thought twice about her purpose on the planet. Fire's place in Faerun was always understood to her: it cleanses the earth and makes room for new growth. Her clan would seek out overgrowths and places that need help and create magically controlled burns that refresh the land.
As much as Keahi loved her clan, she was always curious about the civilized world. She'd sometimes come across adventurers, traders, or hunters from faraway cities that told fantastic tales of technology and cultures completely unknown to her. So one day, she decided to go her own way. She packed what few things - weapons, supplies, and the like - she thought she might need and took to the road. Along the way, she learned to navigate and forage completely alone for the first time, and she found her way out of the High Forest for the first time in her life.
She eventually made her way to Waterdeep and found the Orion Guildhall, open to outsiders, ready for someone just like her to walk through its doors.
