Rare Ammunition (Arrow), requires attunement by a ranged weapon user
The Blink Arrow is a sleek, enchanted projectile with a shimmering silver tip and glowing runes etched along its shaft. The fletching appears to flicker in and out of reality, giving the impression that the arrow is never fully in one place.
Properties:
· Teleporting Strike. When you successfully hit a creature with the Blink Arrow, you may choose an unoccupied space within 30 feet of the target. The struck creature immediately teleports to that space.
· The teleportation is instantaneous and unavoidable—it does not allow a saving throw.
· Limited Use. Once fired, the arrow vanishes into the weave of magic and cannot be retrieved.
Tactical Uses:
· Battlefield Control: Move an enemy away from an ally or reposition them into a hazardous area.
· Trap Setup: Fire the arrow at a foe near a pit, lava, or other danger, then teleport them directly into it.
· Breaking Formations: Separate enemies who rely on close coordination.
· Crowd Control: Drop a powerful melee combatant far away from the fight.
DM Considerations:
· The Blink Arrow ignores resistance to teleportation but does not affect creatures immune to magical movement effects.
· The chosen teleportation square must be unoccupied—if no valid space exists, the target remains in place.
· The arrow is always consumed upon use to balance its power.
