The Glass of Identifying has 3 charges, which replenish daily at dawn.
Identify Spell.
While attuned to the Glass, you can spend 1 charge to cast the spell Identify on a single object or magic item you can touch.
The spell functions exactly as the standard Identify spell.
The process still requires 10 minutes of careful examination through the magnifying glass.
The Glass must remain within 1 foot of the object for the duration of the casting.
Nonmagical Use.
When not charged or activated, the Glass functions as an ordinary magnifying glass. Jewelers, scholars, and artificers often use it for inspecting gems, runes, or delicate mechanisms.
