The below group investigated the reported of the mysterious magical shop that appeared in Waterdeep. After blagging their way inside, they eventually convinced the female Drow shopkeep, by the name of Ardul'olin that they were more discerning that the other customers, and wanted to see the rest of her stock. She consented, and once she had the party trapped in her parlor, she revealed her true, ghostly form and banished the party to a demi-plane, for interfering with her affairs. Adventuring through the bizarre ghostly dungeon, the party battled many constructs, as well as occassionally encountering frightening tableaus, that when interacted with, animated to tell a story. The group eventually pieced together that Ardul'olin was the daughter of a Drow couple that had been lynced by a rascist mob in the human centric town of Hillsfar, and she had prayed for revenge. Continuing on, Vesryn found the Drow's diary, in a library, and being Half-Drow himself, and able to read undercommon, he could piece together whole story. Upon reading it to the group, the books and diary in the library coalesced into a gigantic magical contruct, with shields orbiting it, and an animated magical staff. After a deadly battle, coming close to ending the parties adventuring career, they triumphed, and the construct melted away.(edited)
As the realm appeared to loose it's coherence and shimmer, the party saw a heap of portraits and notes appear. Redarmande pieced together that the portraits matched the faces of statues in an earlier tableau, and he successfully determined that these were the details of the lynching mob. Red vowed to track them down, and the party suddenly found themselves back in Waterdeep, in the shop, now abandoned, but the malevolent curses had disappeared. Looting what they could carry from the shops now mundane stock, they returned.
