The party headed to Silverymoon, where they met with a woman named Hortha Vayne. She paid them to attack a book of demons that would be coming through an abyssal portal that would appear in a cave many miles to the East. They made their way to the cave, and set up a holy water pit trap. Several demons came through, attacking and sieging the party. The party cast them back, destroying their physical forms. They made their way back, but were stopped by the archmage Mordenkainen (or at least his Simulacrum) and his elemental myrmidons. They handed the item that they recovered (A symbol of Demogorgon) over to him, which he took. They found out that the woman that hired them actually worshipped the archdevil Zariel. They received autographs, business cards that glimmer, and a three flasks of Tequila with his face on them. He then immediately teleported them to Lerwick’s, on the edge of the outskirts. For their cooperation ach member is now considered a “Minor Acquaintance” of the mage himself.
