An ex-slave from Sahuagin who escaped and was unable to find his community again. He established himself in the Splitting Jaws where he decided to build a shop so that he could get gold and hire some adventurers to help him find his community, but no one ever came to his shop. He is also paranoid of becoming a slave again so he filled the temple with deadly traps to protect himself and kept training all the time. During that time, he befriended a group of large eels with enormous mouth which he kept around by feeding them frequently. The youngest one seemed very attached to him and they became close friends. He called it Gulpy.
In the recent years, Gulp had fallen into depression and would barely get up to do anything. Because of that he doesn’t know how much time has passed since he’s been here, “Maybe 1,2,3 years? Maybe less. Maybe more. Probably not less?”
In 1494 DR, when a party composed of Kingswell Cooper, Rex Underhand, Sorrel'Svidal Farri, Rickard and Ivinka, Gulp couldn't believe his eyes. He was so happy to finally have customers that he tried to sell them everything he had and encouraged them to participate in his treasure hunt. He was able to inform them that the temple they found him in had been abandoned for some time and that all he found there when he arrived were wereshark bodies, traces of battle and magical items. He also found a strange bandolier that seemed to belong to a ''surface person'' which Kingswell found to be oddly familiar; it reminded him of Skaug, his home.
Gulp chose to tag along with the party and to follow them on their adventures, hoping that they could later on help him find his community. He, of course, brought Gulpy along as well.
