Tanglehair used to live in Zortagra until it was taken over by Duergars. Then, she had to do slave labor until the Duergars turned insane. She was able to escape thanks to a group of adventurers from the Hawthorne Guild: Izzet, Lei Feng, Swolic Ironside and Oberyn. She decided to make her way to Blingdenstone, but was attacked by demons on her way there. She was able to hide for some time, but got lost along the way until she found a deep gnome of the name of Jimjar. With her newfound traveling companion, she resumed her journey toward Blingdenstone.
Even though her meeting with him was brief, Tanglehair had become fond of Izzet and she asks any newly met surface dweller if they know of him or of the Hawthorne Guild so that she could see him again.
