Inialos

Inialos was born in Baldur's Gate to a half-elven artist of a mother. Inialos' early years were idyllic, full of art, music, joy, and laughter. Sadly, Inialos' mother sickened and dies before his tenth birthday.

Inialos was forced to leave the family home, and took to the street. He survived, learning the many skills an urchin must master to live. After a few years, Inialos returned to his mother's home, and with his now sharpened gaze found a secret compartment in the floor. In it he read his mother's last words, which told him of his father and his father's home. Armed with this information, Inialos traveled to Evereska as a beggar, eventually finding his way to the Halfway Inn. There, he was granted admission into Evereska. With his father's name in his hand, he was able to gain admission into the College of Magic and Arms, where he trained as a bladesinger, an elven warrior adept with both blade and spell; and music and dance.

The next six years were comfortable, for Inialos. Certainly, his human blood marked him an outsider, but he was not the only part-human enrolled at the College. He made friends, lived and loved for six years of peace. Inialos' father learned of his existence, and traveled from Evermeet. He never met with Inialos, but arranged for Inialos to be expelled from the College of Magic and Arms. Cast adrift, Inialos wandered back to his old home of Baldur's Gate. En route, he learned of a new settlement, Hawthorne, and the master of magic that resided there.
