The family
Jacques Sylventis - The head of the noble household and current owner of the Sylventis Diamond company, Jacque is a high elf of ambition. His primary motive is to win and succeed in what he does with very little empathy for those around him. Even his marriage to Willow Sylventis is ramshackle and merely to achieve title and power, but that is not an openly broadcasted detail. He will perpetuate and consider himself the good guy in the scenario, doing everything for the people of Faerun.
Willow Sylventis - The head lady of the household, Willow is a high elf that has grown complacent to her situation. Once a more caring and invested individual, she has now grown more melancholic and simply turns a blind eye to the amoral actions of her husband and his affairs. She lives comfortably in the Sylventis manor in waterdeep, her complacency giving her a level of self-loathing due to her miserable marriage that leads her to drink through their supply of Bloodwine to soothe herself from those feelings.
Winter Sylventis - Eldest sibling, former Heiress. Also an accomplished Bladesinger. She is a cold, dignified type but shows great care to her younger sister Weiss. Part of the Harpers based out of waterdeep she acts as a “specialist” and field agent, part of what inspired Weiss to become an adventurer. The motive for such is to fight for a good cause but also be as preoccupied, away from her family as much as possible. In the context of such a broken family upbringing, she had more maternal role in Weiss’s upbringing.
Weiss Sylventis - The heiress to the household, Weiss is the middle child of the Sylventis family. She has grown up beneath these miserable conditions but takes after the nobler ambitions of her grandfather. Wishing to defy her father at every opportunity, she went to train in Evereska as a Bladesinger, only being able to convince him because of the nation’s cloistered attitude toward the world. However, she grew to become a fierce and competent force who has now set forth to create a new legacy that could bring honor to her family name. So she has opted to become an adventurer much to her father’s disapproval. (As a note, this is my PC but will not have access to the family fortune as she has been cut off for disobeying her father to become an adventurer).
Whitley Sylventis - Younger brother of Weiss and Winter, youngest of the three siblings. Has not entered adulthood yet but takes after his father. Polite with an appearance of conscientiousness but arrogant, cold and heartless behind his facade. He remains prideful of his discipleship under his father as an aspiring successful heir to the company. He idolizes his father and would never disobey him.
