Gorbaduc Flintshield is the illegitimate child of Raevadra Gudelmar and is a distant cousin to Ingutrude Gudelmar and the great-uncle of Albaerlus Gudelmar V, Ermenele Gudelmar, and Lilliana Gudelmar. Gorbaduc is shorter in stature and darker in complexion, taking after his halfling father, Wendall Flintshield, and betraying his mother's infidelity at his birth.
At the age of three, Gorbaduc was sent away from his mother to the Dancing Dolphins House and was raised in the servants quarters. He began serving and learning under the steward of the estate when he turned fifteen. It was during this time that he came to know Ingtrude, and their lifelong friendship and eventual romantic relationship began.
Gorbaduc now serves as the steward of the Dancing Dolphins House and is Ingutrude's life partner.
