The mechs are from the Horde and Alliance. The (Big City) dies not interfere in the mud flats. He believes they have a non-aggression treaty. The Murlochs have always been troublesome there. Kankalla probably wouldn’t see a religious overthrow by the shamans like Cancalade did. The Shaman in Cancalade replaced (Caluuna?) after a spirit journey. Ilira is probably our safest safety if Nokko is removed.
Options:
Pursue Murlocs, mechs
Pursue magnatuars
Pursue Horde/Alliance relations with Tuskarr
We head to Murlocks and explore and reconnoiter. The murloc do not come out at night but the mechs do. The murlocs have started taking notice of us. The mechs are just patrolling, and there are pipes built along the ground. The half finished pipes go west and east. They seem relatively new, not decades old. Lots of signs of combat.
We fight a troop of mechs on behalf of a small clan of Murlocks. We defeat the mechs and aid the Murlocks, and they are not aggressive to us at the end of the fight.
On the next day, we see a gnomish copter flying east over us. We had northwest from here, and we see an oil pump. It is big and multi story. There are many mechs. That us the more west direction. Northwest of us is where the mudflaps end, and we can see smoke.
We discover Fitzcrank Airstrip. It is a pretty well built airstrip on dirt. There are buildings, oil storage tanks, and lots of movement. They claim that the goblins took control of all the mechs to take control of the oil fields. We try to explain ecological footprints and multicultural and multigenerational impacts, and the gnome leader isn’t hearing it. They say that Valence Keep is the organization that needs to negotiate with the Horde, not them. We would need to follow this road south to speak with them. The goblin camp is also south of here.
We walk south and find the goblin base. They also claim that the gnomes are controlling the mechs. They claim the autonomous mechs went haywire due to the gnomish mech intervention. Theia demands access to the charging station and overcharges a battery we got off a dead one. She threatens them to tell her the full story but they seem to be earnest. They say they've been here for 6 months, with a good few weeks until things went off the rails. They are work mechs intended to do menial labor / construction tools. The murlocs use tunnels under the fields to escape the mechs. They are frustrated and willing to participate in a committee to resolve the issue.
We end session there and drive the boat back to the inn.
