The Tadashi family was a relatively recent addition to the inner circle of the Last Emperor, and a welcome one at that. By making Bōfū Tadashi the Navy Admiral, the Emperor secured the seas around Panjõ allowing only highly regulated trade vessels ind and out of the country. Prior to the accession to the title of Navy Admiral, the Tadashi wielded significant power as the noble house that connected the affairs of Panjõ with those of the aquatic elves.
