Day Two

The Call

All associated Hunters were activated by their individual conspiracies to Arrive in San Diego. Their instructions were to met up with Hunters from other conspiracies to join in a Hunt to see if it was possible to work with one another to instigate a Second Inquisition. All the Hunters arrived and through various dead drops given tickets to San Diego Natural Museum Tour.

The Hunters

 Zero, representing the Cheiron Group; a multi national  group not into the Hunt to save humanity but to make a profit off monsters.

 Facilier, representing Les Mystères; a disorganized group of spiritualists who willingly allow spirits from the other side to ride their bodies in  exchange for part of their souls.

 Hank Remington, representing The Lucifuge; self proclaimed sons and daughters of demons who will prove the apple doesn't fall far from the tree. 

 Kat Wallace. representing Task Force: VALKYRIE: The government's military wing to eliminate all supernatural threats including any other hunters.

Tatsuo Chung, representing the Ascending Ones; potion master's who claim to hunt but have the best relations with other supernaturals suspecialy.

Father Gun Bunny representing Malleus Maleficarum ; The Catholic Church's hammer against darkness but where was their fury against their own darkness in the Catholic Church?

 Dr. Harrison Jones, representing The Aegis Kai Doru; relic hunters who grave rob trinkets in hopes to help the hunt.

The Museum

The museum tour was lead by Dr. Jones, lovely and by chance the cell of hunters won a backstage pass into the back workings of the museum. There once assembled and introduced the cell got down to business.

Day One

Task Force: VALKYRIE agent Col. Tom Anderson was in charge of a closeted project called RAGNAROK was transporting several items on a freight train that was passing through San Diego.

RAGNAROK was one of those last ditch efforts made in the late 90's when certain people felt that in the year 2000 the apocalypse would rear its head. Designed to take out entire cities that fell under darkness it was launched and as administrators and politics changed was deemed to extreme and put in the closet.

  Yesterday the worst train wreck in California's history occurred. Col Anderson's freight train somehow ran into a civilian passenger train killing 75 people.

The Dreamers of the Black Sun is a doomsday cult that , that draws its traditions from the days of the Aztecs. Among the Aztecs, the Dreamers were a death cult without the power to match their rivals, constantly at risk of complete destruction. Even in modern nights, their numbers are too few and their practice too dangerous to allow functional long-term organization. Turnover is frequent in the cult, and on average, the Dreamers lose members faster than they gain them.

Mindset

Members of the Black Sun Cult believe that the mortal world is warped and corrupt by design—a misbegotten, chaos-laced creation built by hubristic, degenerate gods. In these mages' eyes, perversion is implicit in the design of every earthly object and inhabitant. A paradise once existed, they argue, and it was torn apart to provide the base material for the ruinous human world. This paradise is identified with Tamoanchan, the mythical Aztec world of Itzpapalotl. The only survivors of its destruction are the demonic Tzitzimime, distorted spirits of vengeance bent on the annihilation of Earth. Trapped in the sky and hidden by the sun, they await the day of unending eclipse when they will drop to Earth and visit the righteous fury of their forgotten world on all of humanity. The Dreamers often communicate with spirits they identify as Tzitzimime, hearing their whispers from the rippling chaos of Hell.

To empower the agents of Tamoanchan and better receive their guidance (or even encourage their manifestation in the mortal world), the members of the Black Sun Cult work to provide sacrifice on a grand scale, sabotaging structures and transport systems in an effort to murder dozens or hundreds of souls at once. These sacrifices are ritually prepared and carried out so as to channel energy to the Tzitzimime, providing them with the strength to slip their bonds and come to Earth. Eventually, the Dreamers hope, the energy gathered will be sufficient to bring about the day of unending eclipse and end the pain of life.

They primary utilize sorcery in their twisted rituals that make use of the raw power of fear, ritually occluding conscious thought by immersing the practitioner in base terror and opening a conduit for the energies of Pandemonium to pass through. They call this "opening the bone passage," a practice that puts considerable physical strain on the mage. To help stimulate the effect, Dreamers often subject themselves to threatening circumstances with little or no guarantee of survival, trusting their own power to preserve them. Many actually remain at the site of a planned sacrifice (for instance, sitting as a passenger in an airplane that has been sabotaged), allowing themselves to participate in the tragedy and risk becoming its victims. The heightening of fear that precedes the event often provides them with enough power to survive once it begins—but not always.

 D'Natik was summoned from the ritual. A demon associated with fear, madness, and bloodshed where ever she goes.

 Brujah a posterboy why Les Mystères gets a bad rap. Based out of Tijuana had done some good work until he lost control of the spirit of vengeance riding him and the spirit took over. 

 Suez a exiled member of the Ascending Ones for over use of untested elixir's of his own making. 

 Gutierrez "the High Priest" was a member of The Aegis Kai Doru sent into a Aztec temple to recover relics but was caught and turned by cultists to purify the world.

 on tape Gutierrez was seen turning Col. Anderson into a jaguar warrior. Making it 12 of such creatures caught on tape. RAGNAROK satellite will be in position over San Diego with the correct star alignment for a powerful sacrifice that could bring about the purification The Dreams of the Black Sun have been waiting on.  

The Hospital

1400 Dr Harrison heard back from local Hunter contacts that someone had a lead.

 1600 After BS'ing their way through the nurses station, Cell made contact with local Hunter Jerry Newman in Memorial Hospital. after many social rolls to break down his natural suspicions Yes he knew of a local involved in the cult and that he was willing to trade info. The price was to finish a hunt his local cell had started.

 Fairy Dust is a new very expensive highly effective hallucinogenic hitting San Diego and ruining lives at a unprecedented rate. Jerry Newman and his cell had saw the supernatural influence on the drug and started a hunt. The cell had done preliminary work on the head quarters of the distribution but had drawn to much heat on themselves and got put in the hospital or worse. The cell retrieved sample that Zero and Chung examined. 

The Club

 Rundown warehouse that looked to be squatted in rather than built for a club. Preliminary surveillance showed one entrance and minimal outside security. Kat posted up from a sniping position in front of the club while Rex posted up outside in the car for back up. Zero, Chung, Fr. Gun Bunny, and Facilier entered the club. Chung used underworld contacts to gain entrance to VIP section of club to find the lab. It laid under VIP section in full view protected by a ceiling of safety glass. A second possible entrance exit into the lab was discovered. Facilier called upon his owl spirit for spiritual guidance. As he searched the floor for shiny objects blinking in the darkness and lights, Owl gave him information that the velvet rope guard  was a supernatural.

 Velvet rope security was revealed to be at least 8 foot tall female resembling a ogre.

Chung also felt that the club manager could be supernatural due to him shrugging off her exceptional social skills.

2359 the cell decided to act
