Pront 1 is the main planet and heart of the Government. The Government and the Pront Republic Defence were headquartered on Pront 1. The planet is considered the political and economic center of the Milky Way.
The history of Pront 1 dated back so far into the past that some facts were part legend, part historical. It was deemed the planet where intelligent life originated from. Gradually, Pront 1 became more and more inhabited by countless intelligent species that had come to live and work on the planet. When the Government was founded around 7000 AE, the material "heptistrobuscuriturnite" was discovered by Prontian inhabitants. The material was better known as starship fuel. Thus, Pront 1 was installed as the main planet of the known galaxy. From Pront 1, the great Trade Routes were built that would eventually reach far into the spirals of the Milky Way, just as the colonization of the rest of the galaxy was initiated from Pront 1. The politics of the Government are decided from Pront 1. Due to the presence of all major Trade Routs, thousands of ships land on the planet every day, making it a center of trading.
