Almost every sentient understands, in one way or another, the forces that guide and shape the universe.
These two forces are light and matter. And both exist on a spectrum in everything we see and don't see.
Most folks worship the stellar entities and see the Astra as pure good and encourage the Ether, with the Veda being pure evil and Nether should be prevented. However some belief systems on monastic traditions see the forces differently. Some believe in, for example:
-Cycles, the universe exists in a constant cycle of death and rebirth, destruction and creation
-Balance, the universe exists in a state of balance between the forces and the balance must be maintained
-Change, the only constant in the universe is change and we must must accept and shape our transition and translation from State A to State B to State C and so on...
These are among many many others.
