Also known as the Company, JumpCorp is responsible for sending out exploration teams, science vessels, and salvagers to the corners of the known galaxy (and on rare occasions, beyond).
The pronunciation of JumpCorp is different depending on subdivision and personal view. More often it's pronounced Jump-Corp - as in a corporation - but some military-types will pronounce it as Jump-Core, as in a military corps.
