He is a human. His Blood Hunter-subclass is Order of the Lycan, with a monkey-twist. He transforms into a human-monkey hybrid in battle, literally setting his own fists and teeth on fire to deal extra damage. Not that he needed it. Once ate a rotten fish to gross out his crewmate.
