Found spider-hell-cave by following tracks leading from the owner's bedroom in the Evening Bowl.

Jozef doesn't know what the creature is, and we prompt Elissa to go bring him outside out of harms way. He declines, and stays for the incoming fight. Sai tries to appeal to the thing's ego, praising it and shit talking our group. The attempt doesn't go anywhere, and he gives up and Eldritch Blasts it in the face.
In the ensuing struggle Isaac forgets who Elissa is, and Khohros forgets who Sai is. Khohros is badly injured and the being grapples him, climbing up the central pillar like some kind of fucked up King Kong. An Enlarged Isaac, courtesy of Jozef, teleports up and onto it, slamming themselves, the creature and Khohros down to the floor below. As they land, the being's head is crushed under Isaac's foot like a watermelon. The being dying ends it's magic, and so everyone remembers eachother again and the Squire stirs to life.
Khohros takes a moment to catch his breath, then helps the squire orient themselves in this terrifying place. Elissa got the firbolg loose from the one egg room, but there is no one in the other room. We decide to fan out in order to find the last missing person, the merchant husband, and Isaac & Sai climb/teleport up the pillar to investigate the hole up there.
Beyond there is a trashed study, a globe mapping the planes, books strewn about, and a chalk circle partially smudged on the floor. In the ceiling is a crack, beyond which one can see a night sky.
