Kobalds have taken over the mine (from the surface, it seems). Oarus Masthew has offered the party 50gp to clear the mine. Strangely, it seems that a miner fell down a long shaft a few days before the kobolds arrived. Hidden Rock manages to convince him to give the party a few days rest at the inn for free.
Oarus thinks one of the other speakers might be behind this (maybe Naerth Maxildanarr from Targos). It turns out not to be him, but the party kill all the kobolds in the mine and return.
They receive their 50gp and spend some nights in the inn.
