Dr. Izhora Faen grew up the youngest sibling of 4, and had to keep herself entertained with stories of fantasy and magic. Even after she grew too old to believe in fairytales, she kept her love of ancient stories and cultures, which led her into the field of history. She dove straight into foreign languages and cultures, feeding her growing need to know the secrets behind every story. In college, she sought a degree in Ancient History, and by graduation she had already become known in the field as the one to turn to for help identifying unique relics. She was given a position in the Chicago Museum of Anthropology and pursued her doctorate at the same time. By the age of 24 she had finished her thesis on Ancient Sumerian mythos and a potential source for their beliefs.
Izhora awakened due to a fluke, nothing more. She had returned to the Museum late one night to continue examining an artifact that had stumped her all day. While examining it, the artifact shattered, releasing the spirit trapped within and triggering her Awakening. Izhora found herself face to face with the truth of Magic and the Elements around her. Magic was real, and the Forces around her could be bent to her will. All those stories she had studied and lived could be based on truth, and the answers were out there, if she can find them. When she came back down from her Awakening, the spirit that had triggered the whole thing offered its services in exchange for a bond. It would help her seek out lost and forgotten secrets, and she would share her discoveries, for knowledge is what keeps the spirit alive. That day Izhora took the name Archive as her own, for she decided then and there that she would collect as much knowledge as she could, gathering secrets and artifacts to be used for the better of all.
After her Awakening, she was approached by another member of Obrimos: Ouroboros. She brought Izhora to the Consillium and explained to her the rules of this society.
