Below the Southwest Isles, rocky caverns gush with water. While the surface flow of Icemelt at SW Isles swirls by, the underflow is easy to traverse. Hidden away in Woodsworth's Sylvean Hideaway, we decided to return towards a previous junction in the Waterway Caves. Emerging from an extradimensional cavern doorway, we were the wettest we've ever been. With J'ack Rameur in the lead, it took a lot of swimming - but Fortune's Vanguard wiggled their way through to the junction.
Under the churning waters there, all the fungi were suppressed from the filled chambers. Numerous piles of dead insects clumped - washed away by the shift of season. To the west, a large globule of gel was pinned to the wall by watery pressure. Xael kept an eye out for our group, ensuring we did not swim directly into massive dangers. We swam past a flesh-infesting fungal mound, and started to head south.
The underwater caverns themselves began to illuminate from pitch watery darkness to the occasional dim crystal glow. We had found the Sharp Crystal Caverns, and continued to move between wet rocks. Heading southward matched up with our previous clues, and so we wandered.
When we were able to rest next, Cleis Frostclaw and Milu Soma got more acquainted; we learned that Milu's mother knows gardening, and that he can get Cleis an introduction to Vekani the author of a crucial book on the fall of Udrodzid.
