We breached the Academy of Innovator Mik'tau Umbra the Keen, the doors slamming shut behind us. We were locked in.

Our Vaelhrathi allies fought the encroaching hoards outside and we knew our time was limited. Lit in hazy multicolored light, the undead moved to an unheard rhythm, puppeteered by our target on the floors above.

We confronted Mik'tau several floors up, and combat ensued both within a tower and nearby rooftops. We prevailed, battling the necromancer through several body snatchings as she desperately tried to protect her tower.

Eventually though, we succeeded.

Several days were spent rifling through the research thought lost to the ages, and several revelations were learned:

Reading etchings on the walls that seemed to lead towards a safe point, a small group of survivors were found.

Small in number, these kobolds lived in tunnels behind a choke point under the assumption that the world had ended.

After some discussion the kobolds decided to come with the group to the world above, and joined Woodsworth Moure's squad.

Coordinating with the party and my studies complete for now, me and my remaining squad members left to rejoin the rest...
