Our journey takes us further out to sea. We're a full-day's journey from shore, and another day's journey before we follow along the coast to Egland.
Me and Woodsworth met with Ashpa in the hold, and I explained her predicament. The caretaker graciously agreed to provide his own blood to keep her hunger in check. I met with Kr'af to consider adding a lock to my quarters' door and hooks for a hammock. I'd hoped to make Ashpa's stay in my room more comfortable, but she decided to stay below deck from now on instead of sneaking to my room. I eventually had Kr'af add hidden slats for her to hang a hammock down there. I just want her to be comfortable and safe...
Woodsworth has been using his divine gifts to spy on those far away, and looked into the contents of the barrel that was sealed with magic and bears the symbol of a goat's head. It seems to contain some sort of evil ooze filled with bones. Necromancy. It reminds me of the horrors that were used as laborers in the facility I was once imprisoned in. He has also kept in touch with Zayne. I don't trust the Slowcart Foundation, but I trust him, and it seems things are more splintered in that group than I thought- factions, that keep secrets even from each other. I don't think our dealings with them will end well.
I heard that J'ack, the newest member of our group, decided to duel Cleis while I was sleeping. I guess to teach him some sort of lesson about combat? He's an interesting one, and fierce! I'm glad he's on our side.
I have some ideas I'd like to test on the Octahedral Crystalizer. It made flesh once, perhaps it can be used to make blood for Ashpa?
