"Our art gallery is not of the traditional sort - we have only paintings of individuals - not particularly famous individuals in every case either, but rather those who we here feel have pulled at the strings of fate without anyone's permission. This is a gallery for heroes, adventurers, rat-catchers, and rogues."

The Curator of the Rogues' Gallery, Robin Blanchard

Rogues' Gallery of PCs

Here you shall find a pack of vagabonds, heroes, tricksters, runaways, heathens, saints, scoundrels, and adventurers - all of them player characters that have previously played their own part in the world of Adra. Peruse their portraits and lives, learn your own lessons from their mistakes, see the possibility where they did, and realize the great story of which you are apart. Perhaps one day you shall see a portrait of your own in the Rogues' Gallery?

The Technomancer

of the Elderon Wayfairers

Ancestry: Human | Culture: Wastelander | Age: 18 | Birthyear: 75th Year of the 5th Era

The Gelt's have a saying, 'Take the greatest challenge you know in life, and set it before you as a hill that stands taller than any other. For each step you take to accomplish that challenge, you take one step closer to the top, to see the grand horizon of endless possibility to your accomplishments'. These were the words passed on from one of the greatest adventurer's and explorers of the 5th Era, Elias Gelt, to his granddaughter, Haley Gelt. Haley had embarked to the Wastes of Whitecroft in search of one of the greatest treasures the world had ever known. Having escaped an unfortunate misunderstanding with the Elderon Wayfairers, she attempted to travel with them. Yet, ultimately, she decided the group of well-meaning individuals did not synergize with her daring spirit, and so she set off with an old companion of her grandfather's and forged her own journey. Her quest had amassed an emperor's fortune, and carved a life for herself that many could only dream of in her profession. In the end, she died in her bed, surrounded by her family and friends, seeing in her last moments a gorgeous sunset, over the horizon.

The Cleric

of the Elderon Wayfairers

Ancestry: Deep Gnome | Culture: Svirfneblin | Age: 54 | Birthyear: 39th Year of the 5th Era

In the reclusive Underdark city of Malja min Wahy, within a quiet room of the grand church to Yeshaya, is a shy gnomish woman named Kalima ahl Amiduljamil. Having finished with her clerical duties she’s working on yet another piece of clothcraft that she’d once again devote to their god of beauty. However, unlike the numerous times she’s worked on her craft before, she’s found her hand guided by a force unseen, the imagery she pictures in her mind unlike anything she’s seen before. The result is a message from their god in the form of a Tapestry. Such a tapestry that would lead her from the safety of her home and into a new world with new beauty to behold, one that she’s been tasked to protect. Following the guidance of her god, she places herself in the path of adventurers, the Elderon Wayfairers. With these travelers she was given experiences with anger, fear, dread and loss, all sorts of emotions that she wasn’t wholly familiar with before. These new life lessons, often paid for with her own hubris, granted her new perspectives for which to appreciate the world and the beauty in it. But more than that she was given the confidence to paint the environment around her with her own colors, to make changes she thought would bring more beauty to the world for those that live in it. Together with her companions she championed the right of creative expression against threats that would risk snuffing it out completely.

The Sorcerous Bard

of the Elderon Wayfairers

Ancestry: Human | Culture: Bleached Desert | Age: 26 | Birthyear: 67th Year of the 5th Era

Once upon a time there was a boy who was forced to ration food and water to survive in the hot desert sun. His village was prone to raids by bandits and attacks by kobolds. There was never time for luxury or entertainment as his community was forced to defend their right to live day by day. But that didn’t stop this poor boy's imagination. The village would, on rare occasion, be passed by a caravan. He’d dream of where they were going, and what was beyond that barren horizon. As time went on he felt his idle musings were not enough and he risked dying on that heated sand to hitch a ride to the life of his dreams. His new band of traveling companions happened to be a theatre group, one which taught him their trade. Several years and many scenes later our now special effects artist would find himself forcibly thrust into a similar and yet very different setting, one where he’d be forced to play the part of an adventurer. With this new role he was given the opportunity to be a savior and defend a village from bandits much like he was forced to do many years before. To some this man is a hero, and to others he’s a nuisance, but his friends just know him as a simple lover of theatre and passion. His name is Malik Al Saleeb.

The Roguish Wizarding Bloodhunter

of the Elderon Wayfairers

Ancestry: Human | Culture: Wastelander Age: 29 Birthyear: 64th Year of the 5th Era

The cursed son of the 'noble' Cambert line that ruled the Kingdom of Croft, Oliver lived his life with spared affected from few within his family, and many dismissive notions of his existence. In truth, he had been touched by the hand of an Old One. For what purpose, nobody could say, and neither could he. Yet on a fateful day, upon discovering his mother had been murdered, and he had been blamed for her death, he was ushered by the castle by his eldest sister, and spat curses to his family upon the stones. For the majority of his life, he lived as a bounty hunter, letting the desert burn his pain from his body, until of course, he met the Elderon Wayfairers. Through their kindness, and good spirit, they humbled him. He was able to erase the guilt of his past, and discover the truth of his mother's death. In the end, he embraced the faith of his curse, and brought forth into this world a once destroyed marker of the Old Ones into existence, as his final act in life, before falling dead in an alley.

The Pact Fighter

of the Trauma Squad

Ancestry: Human | Culture: Whitecrofter | Age: 27 | Birthyear: 5975th Year of the 4th Era

We all have dreams, goals, aspirations... Some have wants and desires that are full of greed, lust, and selfishness. Yet some wish to see a better idea put forward into the world, to make it and all those who live their lives know a better existence - Dr. Toralius Ultarus was a man inspired by his intimacy with war. When his country marched to an unknown land to claim it as their own, he got a taste for nationalism, and instead was fed with notions of death, conflict, and cruelty. Yet afterwards, he chose the path of the pen and the toolbelt, and set upon the world to discover a better way to use his talents outside of killing. What he discovered was a group of strange and beautiful people, who he traveled with to save magic as we know it. Yet, he also discovered a great and terrible power within himself, the Abacterial Logistical Pertinacious Hierarchical Autonomous Regent, or ALPHAR. At the end of his quest to save magic, Toralius discovered he was the heir to Dr. Uhrman Bardock's famous and terrible fortune. With it, he finally believed he could end war forever - only in the end, for his dreams to turn to ash.
