With their plan set in stone the party, now dubbed The Reclaimants, set out on the 10th of Sweat to find a quick job to make a little extra money to supply up before the long journey. Brunhilda informed them that one of her customers, Georgy, worked for the royal treasury and had found himself in a bit of trouble. The party agreed to meet with Georgy and found out that about three months ago someone broke into his office (which he had left unlocked due to loosing the key) and tampered with a ledger that determined which wherehouse some valuable subsidies for Halfpost would be stored in. A large amount of silver, tobacco, and tea had been sent to warehouse 17, which had long since been abandoned. Georgy offered the party 4gp per person to go to the warehouse and find who was responsible for this. With some crafty mercantile charm (i.e. blackmailing), Tanythe managed to get him to add on a reinforced surcoat.
The Reclaimants made their way to the docks and after a little snooping decided to enter into the warehouse. Aurent and Deirdre opened the doors, acted confused when they saw someone inside, closed the doors, and then opened them again to charge in and start combat. Throughout the combat Leith obliterated the knee of the thug Pimbert, Deirdre was overcome with visions of ash which may not all be in her head after all, Beans eviscerated the thug Goomer, Beans and Aurent were put into a stupor by the house drake Beskavar, Tanythe critically injured Beskavar in the shoulder, and Aurent teleported through light and killed Beskavar in a whirlwind of magic and blade.
With Pimbert still alive the party managed to discover that Beskavar the house drake was responsible for the theft and had hired himself and Goomer to help collect the inventory from the docs. They decided to take him back to Georgy and potentially recruit and rehabilitate him. As the party was leaving the warehouse Tanythe heard a voice calling out to her. It guided her to a back room in the warehouse and revealed itself as "The Oath Binder" who was trapped inside a golden laurel pin. After some back and forth and many questions, Tanythe agreed to bring the pin with her on their journey to Drumshiel and renamed the pin Laurel.
TLDR: Pimbert lost his soccer scholarship, poor Goomer he dead now, there's a lot of rug salesmen in Aegyr, maybe you shouldn't treat wild animals as harmless pets
