10th of Sweat-13th of Sweat

The Reclaimants returned to the Copper Axe Tavern and Inn and informed Georgy about Beskavar. Not wanting to turn Pimbert in to the authorities and risk his mistake being revealed, Georgy agreed to let the party take Pimbert under their wing. He was hired on as the chef of the company as he seemed to have some skill in cooking. While he could not offer the party any further payment, Georgy asked if they would be willing to transport the stollen good to Halfpost, ensuing them that the settlers were very hospitable and would likely provide some kind of payment once they arrived. The party agreed to transport the goods as it actually shortened their journey by a few miles if they traveled to Halfpost.

Before setting off, they spent two days in Aegyr so that Grolun could apply runes to Leith and Aurent's weapons. During this time Aurent and Deirdre accompanied Grolun and learned about the art of Runesmithing. Tanythe found some work at the Bountiful Bread Store, but found that her method of making traditional Tansahore loafs was not up to the Aegyr standards and had her wages cut severely.

Leith spent the two days investigating a man named Rawley who had sold Goomer an owl bear claw. He learned that Rawley works for a poaching organization called the Fang and Fur Company. Holding back his desire to beat this man into a pulp, Leith posed as a skilled hunter who was looking for work and was told that one of the higher up, Ispin, was currently docked in Aegyr and could likely offer him some work. Leith found the ship and, lying his way through (hopefully successfully), was given the contact information of an operative in Sevastipol named Tarto. He took this information, not entirely sure what to do with it yet, and returned to the tavern, a heavy weight upon his shoulders.

Bye Bye Gobbos

13th of Sweat-17th of Sweat

Before heading out on their journey, Terwy gave the Reclaimants some information on fortresses that may be beneficial to visit. Clan Osgard's fortress, they were once known as the wardens of the west and had good relations with the Saravoans. Clan Riften's fortress, they had vasts deposits of silver and emeralds. Members of clan Riften still exist today and would likely pay handsomely for reclaiming their home. Clan Stodgen's fortress. was known for welcoming in dwarven settlers and protecting the valley. During the war members of this clan became fierce soldiers.

Stocked up with supplies and rations, the company set out on their journey, heading to Westmarch Fort first. On this five day journey, Tanyth learned how to communicate with Laurel telepathically. The party also came across a patrol led by Commander Karthon. The party learned that there is a lot of conflict (though never outright wars) about the land that Westmarch and Halfpost is on.

18th of Sweat

The Reclaimants arrived in Westmarch and realized that they would need to stock up on rations in order to make it to Halfpost. They agreed to take on a job of "dealing" with some goblins that were terrorizing a village north of the fort. While the party rested up, we learned that Deirdre is the last of her clan, as her parents grew ill and died shortly after moving to Malmuir. She sells the gemstones from her clan dagger in the hopes that it will help her move forward and build a life that her parents would have wanted for her.

19th of Sweat

Just outside of the village, the party was ambushed by three goblins. While Aurent was almost felled in one shot, the party made quick work of the feral beasts. Leith shot one through the eye, Deirdre caused one to become sick in a coughing fit from inhaling a cloud of ash, Tanythe handily finished off a goblin with the help of Beans, and Aurent obliterated the final goblin in a flash of lightning. The party gathered up proof of their job completed, and also found a strange necklace on one of the goblins.

Walk in the Sun

20th of Sweat

The party collected their reward for a job well done and increased their fame a bit with the people of Westmarch. They set out once more on an 18 day journey to Halfpost. Along the way Aurent was accosted by a loose tree branch, but managed to avoid the brunt of the injury. Tanythe was quick to come to his aid with elixers of life.

21st of Sweat

The caravan was halted by a large herd of sheep crossing the road. Leith attempted to help the farmers move them along but was unsuccessful, costing them a day of travel.

27th of Sweat

The Caravan came across a leshy man by the name of Jude. Jude felt he was at both a physical and metaphorical crossroads, unsure of where to go in his life. Leith offered him a path of adventure if he wished to join their company. After a bit of light flirting on Leith's part and learning about why everyone has chosen to take this path, Jude agreed to sign on to The Reclaimant's quest as a fighter.

30th of Sweat

We came across a painter named Le Boshard. Tanythe spoke with him for a time before moving on and discovered that he was one of the most famous and skilled Haelish painters.

7th of Rot

The party came across a dead and rotting cow off the side of the road. After some analysis by Aurent and consulting with Iskandur, they realized the cow must have been killed by a flying, bloodsucking creature called a Sturge. They come from the swamp but can easily fly great distances. Tanyth recalled their speed and ability to latch onto their prey, but reassured the party that they were quite easy to kill if you can avoid their bite.

While on the road Aurent decided to test out the necklace they found and discovered that it caused his thoughts to be spoken aloud. After some trial and error, they discovered that if the stone on the necklace was placed up to the laurel pin it would allow the rest of the party top hear Laurel. Aurent spoke with her for some time, and discovered perhaps they have some connection, or at least a similar goal or past that they cannot remember. Tanythe kept the necklace to use when Laurel wanted to address the whole party, but enjoyed their secret conversations as secret best friends so did not keep it on permanently.

9th of Sweat

The party arrived in Halfpost and was greeted and praised by the Marquis Pelwyn Desosa. She offered them rations and mounts for their troubles and a free weeks stay at the local inn. She also asked if they could help with a local goblin raiding band who had been kidnaping settlers and had recently kidnapped the town hermit. Tanythe and Aurent went to the Dragon's Rest tavern to ask about the goblins and discovered from the barkeep, Fraskalor, that their leader was a bugbear named Gorg the Bloody Handed. He had supposedly come down from Zaltia and the goblins were acting i na very organized fashion under his command.

Leith and Deirdre spoke with a homeless woman about the hermit and learned that she is a half-elf named Pina. she was very helpful around the town and had some useful magic. The woman gave them the location of her home and let them know that she was taken only a few days ago. Deirdre bought the woman a nice meal at the inn for her troubles and the party rested up for the evening, ready to tackle these raiders come morning light.

TLDR: Deedee Megadoodoo, Tanyth enjoys a hearty loaf of bread, Deirdre should probably shower more often, Leith fucked a tree.
