Azuru

Born from an unusual dalliance between a kobold and a succubus, Azuru has been marked for an unusual life from the beginning. Her exotic appearance granted her much unwanted attention and advances, planting seeds of wariness that would grow into paranoia. Never fitting in with her community, she set out at a young age, trying to find purpose and belonging.

Azuru found acts of academia and seduction came equally easy to her, and she moved from one line of work to the next until she landed a job as a detective, which allowed her to flex her skills and do research in her off time. A particularly vile occult tome she researched while investigating a cult gave her recurring nightmares related to strange horrors hiding between the stars.

Leaving her detective job, Azuru worked at an archive for a brief time, but after nearly dying on an assignment she retired and moved on once more. She now works for the Pathfinder Society, hoping that the resources granted there will allow her to learn more about her heritage, and perhaps even unlock latent power within.
