"My power was exploited from me for so long. My return will allow me to show the realms what I am truly capable of."

Nedall. A name long forgotten to the eons of history. Who is he? Where did he come from? Why… did he have to show up now? The mortals of the world fail to answer such simple questions, at least most mortals.
Nedall’s past is considered cloudy at best. He claims to have been the chosen one when the era of man was just beginning. Someone who was created to ascend and rejuvenate the world with his innate powers.
However, these are the things that Nedall chooses to tell others who ask him of his creation and purpose. For an untold amount of eons Nedall suffered a different fate. He was trapped in a cocoon of his own power, a crystal of the same quality every adventurer uses daily, deep within the Spine of the World.
His purpose now is to manage the flow of souls through the ethereal plane and the afterlife. He’s not there to send them to their rightful place but to pick out the ones that shouldn’t have quite died yet. The ones that needed to be plucked out from the afterlife and placed back into their body once more. He is also in charge of making sure the world is populated with enough gemstones.
Scholars are now just realizing that the magic tied to the rebirth of the crystal all tie back to the magic that Nedall provides. Only time will tell what more there is to be discovered with his return.
Depiction
Nedall’s current appearance represents the visage of an injured and mortally wounded man. He has long silken hair and piercing aquamarine eyes that give off a cold and steely gaze. Regardless of his appearance, the Deus carries himself with pride and arrogance as he has finally returned to his rightful place on the court.
Nedall stands for any adventurer who is greener behind the ears. He sees growth in learning how to unlock each other's potential together, especially since he is learning how to manage his own position. While he is arrogant himself, he shows remarkable disdain for people who self proclaim themselves as prodigies or masters of their craft.

Enemies
Nedall considers all of the other deities to be an enemy of him. He wishes for them to feel the pain he had felt trapped away and awaits the day that he can look at them struggling from a distance.
While he looks at others this way the reverse is not true. “Younger” arisen have taken a liking to him such as Accalia, trying their best to not let himself become a true lone wolf.
Nedall also considers Raki, the King of Ur, to be an enemy. However the reasoning behind this is unknown.
Commandments of Nedall:
Death is another chance to fight again. Escape from it’s clutches and the world will welcome you back with open arms.
In a world filled with absolutes, experience will be your best teacher.
We will strive for perfection even while knowing we can never reach it, for perfection is good.
