While driving a buggy back towards the base, my systems were corrupted and it seemed as if the fabric of reality opened up and was swallowed by a giant whirlpool.
- After running the systems diagnostics, no critical errors were found, but the water was too strong to try and stabilize.
- Felt someone drag him along into something.
- Came to next to a strange blue human and asked it "What kind of creature are you?"
- Looked around the room - there's an engine powered by the blue glowing crystal.
- A bunch of other humanoids dropped into the room: a stunned human, a large bipedal cat, a human of wide proportions, an armored human, as well as the the blue person who saved me.
The wide human told me to fix the vessel, so I tried to find large metal plates that don't seem to be of use anywhere else to patch up the holes that are leaking water.
- A voice spoke to us, said they were the captain of the ship, and ordered us to repair it. I shall do what I'm good at!
- At that moment the outside of the ship changed and we were suddenly in water and a large aquatic animal, extinct for a millenia, swam towards us so I moved out of the way.
- The blue person helped me repair one hole, while the wide human commanded us.
- The cat-like humanoid tried to help with materials and said they were a half-human, so I can only half-help them.
We finished fixing one hole, and moved to the other side of the room to work on the other.
- Something large and brownish came to the ship hole we were trying to fix - another long extinct creature that is much larger than what I've read about - probably called a Giant Squid.
- The blue person defended from the attack and attacked back but was not very successful.
- The squid's tentacle wrapped around me and pulled me closer.
- I attacked it to try and save the blue human that seemed to be in danger. At first I thought my punch won't do much, but (Benny!) it was a real and proper PUNCH.
- Suddenly a bright flare shoots throught the squid and lets go of me.
- I grabbed it and threw it in the room (rations!), thanked the human, and continued fixing the hole.
