A lone, wandering mermaid that can't speak a word. Literally, she physically cannot utter sound - though whether that is by injury, by choice, or by curse is unknown. It's not like Sayle herself can say why she cannot speak. But like the Bard she is, it seems that her lack of voice is only a minor handicap - being quite the dancer, more than comfortable letting her movements and her castanets to do her talking for her.
Why is she alone? Where is her community? Is she searching for something? Or is she running from something? Well... whatever her goal is, she's not sharing it.
Rather... perhaps someone should keep an eye about what she throws herself into? The girl seems to have a slight bloodlust for battle, almost a compulsion for it, and seems more than interested in sinking a ship for personal gain. Worrisome.
