Isadosia

Town

Located next to a large lake and steep mountain range, this remote town has long been a favourite training spot for athletes and warriors looking to hone their physical skills. Over the centuries, the town has cultivated its reputation, and retired athletes and warriors will often settle down here at the end of their careers to provide training to the next generation. This town was a favourite of Isadore Huorath, and she spent a large amount of time there honing her skills and training others - so much so that the town was renamed in her honour after her death (from its previous name, Athlitos.)

Somewhat in contrast to the town’s athletic prowess, Isadosia is also home to a small but significant library of tomes on magic history and practice. Previously one of Damon’s private collections (that he used to study during his time in the area with Isadore), it was left in the care of the town after Isadore’s death. The Academy at Mytros has long petitioned to have the collection relocated - however, strong magical wards prevent the tomes from leaving the library where they are housed, and the Academy have yet to be successful in removing these.

Because of this, scholars and mages make the difficult pilgrimage here to study these ancient tomes regularly; and between them, and the athletes that train in the area, Isadosia has a flourishing tourist trade.
