Gosh, Helikaon can be so oblivious. I had to stare him down to focus on the spell and I’m not sure he’s taken it in even now what happened. Thankfully, he’s also oblivious to the fact that he had my diary in his hands for almost an hour. There are thoughts on here that are definitely not meant to be shared. Still, Aeneas is back. And Slippy is happy.
That forge is relit, the three headed fiend defeated, though it wasn’t even remotely an easy fight. The forgekeeper was released from her oath, but not before telling us about whatever demon crawled out of the chasm in the mine. She reckons it goes down all the way to the Nether Sea. Yet another creature of Lutheria. Who knows what’s escaped and is lurking out there in Thylea. We should probably warn Volkan and the dwarves in case it returns.
Braz made the promise to release her mid-battle which did turn the tide in our favour. He now keeps muttering ‘moment of weakness’ under his breath. Maybe it was, but it was also the right thing to do at the time. And the right things to do at any other time, as the overly complicated ‘oath tablet’ keeping her there proved; there was no reason, no debt for her to be incarcerated in this mine.
