1 Sulla doesn’t seem willing to take no for an answer. It doesn’t help that the others were goading him on! But I figure, if just one song can convince him he is in love with me, perhaps another might convince him otherwise? Though, I wonder if this is… too vague? I haven’t called him out by name or anything as I don’t want to embarrass the poor man; but, then again, subtlety doesn’t seem to be his strong point. I wonder if this will go over his head...
2 As he proposed, he made sure to let me know that the ring was valuable. 1000 drachme, I think? I haven’t quite got a handle on how much things cost nowadays, but even I know that is a lot. Now that I think about it, the fact that he proclaimed its worth, like that should sway me, is actually a little insulting. I don’t think he meant it that way though; I think he might just be a little inexperienced with this sort of thing.
3 Alke was a bit worse for wear this morning and she seemed a little put off by the fact I wasn’t in quite the same state. I’m not sure it was just the hangover though. Alke also seems upset that I contacted Loreus for her. Remarked that this whole affair with Sulla should teach me a lesson about meddling. So I told I wouldn’t help her with Loreus anymore. To which she quickly backtracked. And now I am just very confused as to what she wants from me!
4 I was in such a good mood before all this! And now this has thrown me for a bit of a loop… though, I guess it is a little amusing.
You know what? It is going to take a little more than this to shake my good mood this morning (well, afternoon)! I’m really looking forward to seeing everything in Mytros. We’ll find Helikaon, he can tell us where he disappeared to, and then we can all go exploring! It will be nice to have a quick break from all the problems that are following us: even if it is only for one day.
