Hippofilius- Session 45

Journal

There was barely time to take in the surroundings when we were once more thrown into combat.

Huge minotaurs, their horns gleaming in our reflected lights, charged from between thick pipes that coiled like intestines around the floor. As they charged at us, the shouts alerted a grim faced human who rushed to throw open brass valves at the other side of the room.

The purpose of the valves became clear as various noxious gases began to pour into the chamber. Some thin red fumes left Calliope giggling and light headed and a black noxious smoke left one of the minotaurs retching. We were all covered in the clinging smell of an egg like yellow gas before we managed to fight our way clear of the threat.

Exhausted, we did our best to block off the chamber to take time to catch our breath.

Helikaon sent his small dragon into a chamber up a spiral stairs and reported some glass doors barring the way. Who knows what contraptions lie ahead of us?
