Dafne has been described by others as young and unproven, but back at the Temple of the Open Hand in Aresia she has been well known as their most promising student for years. These will be her first games, but the Temple and the whole of Aresia have high hopes. Such high hopes that they’ve assigned one of their best support casters, Lakeia, to help her.
Dafne is yet to master the full power of the magical augmentation that Lakeia can offer her; once she even tripped over herself not realising how much faster the spell had made her. This has not helped the relationship between the two which can be best described as tense: Fane is quiet and shy, whereas Lakeia relishes the attention of the crowd.
Dafne is relatively small and unassuming, but extremely quick and light on her feet. She can move with the speed of wind and excels at throwing events such as the javelin. However, any strength contest and she can easily be beaten.
