Akimedes is the Master of Divination at the Academy in Mytros. He acts as the Master of Ceremonies for the Great Games; a role that he relishes.
He is an expert on the rules and regulations that surround each of the events, with an encyclopaedic knowledge of former competitors and rulings made in games centuries past.
He wears a set of crystalline goggles much of the time that helps him see things clearly from a distance, but are also rumoured to help him identify magical effects and dig out cheaters in his beloved games.
His unwillingness to bend or break rules has made him a respected figure, if not a liked one.
