Hi Crimson I don't have much to update you on on this mission because we didn't get to do much.
Once we woke up, we decided to find a way into the castle without getting spotted. It was fairly hard since they have the area covered pretty well, but after a few minutes of searching the near by buildings we found one building that has an underwater stream and one that had basement. We investigated the basement first since the other option seemed a little more risky and harder to get into. By surprise, the kobolds had a female Gnome chained to a bed in the basement and they were keeping her asleep. Seem a little weird to keep a poisoner asleep outside the base but we ended up freeing her.
Suddenly Waxillium began to act strange and was saying that he wanted to take her back to the dome, he was the one that requested the mission so for him to suddenly change his mind because he wants to take the prisoner back the dome is mind boggling. He claimed that he was following the oaths that we took and said that we should be protecting the weak, but yet he didn't blink an eye when he almost obliterated the dogs. Going to skip the boring part where we go after him and re group...
We found a way into the castle grounds through one of the buildings that had an underground stream, and we are currently sneaking around. This castle seems pretty large and there are kobolds at every corner. We've done a pretty good job not getting spotted but it's only a matter of time before we get caught and will have to either fight or run.
Oh you ask what the goal is in this, what it seems a suicide, mission? Originally we wanted to look for one of the modules that keeps the void bringers out of the dome, and possibly find the human wizard that was being kept as poisoner. But now, we'd be lucky if we can even sneak a piece of bread out of this castle.
