The Rain Islands is loosely united as a federation of villages and towns, predominantly inhabited by the Lonouian people. Only 2% of the population lives in the three towns Wāham, Nāwau and Kū, while the rest live in villages dotted along the coasts of the many islands, the largest of which is Lokou.
